Mission Objectives

Our mission is to honour and respect life, while offering care, comfort, and dignity to those experiencing life-limiting illnesses, and supporting families and loved ones.

How We Carry Out Our Mission

  • Providing support for those in need of end of life care, their families and caregivers regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, or diagnosis.
  • Supporting the work of Palliative Care services and working with other related agencies and organisations.
  • Offering and providing care and support for those experiencing bereavement, loss and grief. Raising awareness of end of life issues within the community.

Our Strategies

  • To support those experiencing financial difficulty who are facing end of life.
  • To provide extra services at time of need or until services are available through usual channels.
  • To support the provision of the Oncology services within Forster Private Hospital.
  • To acquire and maintain a pool of equipment for the use of those facing end of life.
  • To fund raise, accept gifts, bequests, sponsorship, and grants to enable the ongoing work of the Palliative Care Support.
  • To provide support to those providing Palliative care services and enhance care provision through provision of specialised equipment and education.
  • To raise community awareness around death, dying and end of life issues.
